The Bookshelf is one of the few remaining independent bookstores. Its owners, Doug and Barb Minett, have a long and deep commitment to supporting the community. They shared with me their extensive knowledge and experience in the complexities of book publishing. They explained the differences between the dreams and realities of publishing.
